You are far too quick. This site (Blog) is not off the ground yet. But yes it is a S5 Electronics kit - and extremely modifid.

I read about it some days ago in another blog and the main things that you mention here are very similar
The kit for the K-12 comes from S5 Electronics. It is easy to assemble and a great starter for the tube guy!
Another starter kit comes from Spare Time Gizmo of Nuts and Volts. It Is the 6T9 amp. I use mine daily.
